Dragonfly: awakening transformation to change our life

Updated: Apr 4

Close-up of a green dragonfly perched on a leaf, set against a blurred green background. The intricate wings are visible, evoking serenity.

The dragonfly can reach great heights, even flying across oceans and vast lands during migration. This little insect has existed for millions of years, even before the dinosaurs.

They are agile flyers, and one of their symbolic themes is transformation. Due to their intimate transformation from nymph to adult, they symbolize awakening to our true selves.

The dragonfly also represents a connection with nature and the unfolding of opening up to the true nature of reality. The dragonfly is very adaptable to change, has immense resilience, and is associated with wisdom.

As they spend most of their lives as nymphs, when they awaken and fly, there is a parallel of living life to the fullest and igniting infinite possibilities, reaching beyond our perceived limitations.

Although we may be in our own “nymph” mode for a very long time, once we awaken, we can also fly to great heights and change our life. There are no boundaries in the open sky, and realizing this, anything is possible.

This is freedom. Freedom of peace, happiness, joy, and love. If the little dragonfly can do it…

Cheers!
